Alessandro Cenzi è dottorando in Cultura Visuale presso l’Università degli Studi di Palermo, dove conduce un progetto di ricerca volto ad indagare i legami tra scrittura e visualità all’interno della produzione narrativa e fototestuale di Giorgio Vasta, con un’attenzione particolare al tema della luce. I suoi interessi di ricerca comprendono la letteratura novecentesca e dell’estremo contemporaneo, i rapporti tra letteratura e cultura visuale, e le differenti possibilità di rappresentazione del reale che la frizione tra dimensione visuale e verbale può offrire in ambito narrativo. Alessandro Cenzi is a PhD student in Visual Culture at the University of Palermo, where he is working on a project aimed at investigating the connections between writing and visuality within Giorgio Vasta's narrative and phototextual production, with a particular focus on the theme of light. His focus of research includes contemporary and extreme contemporary literature, the relationships between literature and visual culture, and the different possibilities of representation of the real that the friction between visual and verbal dimensions can offer in the narrative field.
